Cerec 3D: One Day, One Visit

Gone are the days when creating healthier teeth meant lots of time-consuming steps: making impressions to send to a lab, temporary restorations, waiting for lab-built restorations, waiting for fittings and adjustments. Now, strong healthy teeth are achievable in as little as one appointment.

We are using one of the newest innovations in ceramic cosmetic dentistry to provide high quality, convenient dental restorations.

The CEREC 3 (Chair-side Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system let's Dr. Brau restore decayed teeth, place crowns, remove defective amalgam fillings on-site and typically in just one appointment, saving you time and inconvenience.

Cerec How does CEREC 3D work?
A camera creates a high-resolution digital image of your damaged tooth/teeth. The CEREC 3D software converts the digital picture into a 3D virtual model. The design can then be perfected to match the shape size and particulars of your natural teeth.

Before and After

Once the on-screen model is complete, the data is sent to a milling machine to sculpt the restoration out of a solid block of ceramic, chosen to match the shade of your natural teeth. This milled restoration is extremely precise, very durable and made with tooth-colored material. You can actually watch your tooth being made right in the office!

With advanced bonding techniques and the very precise CEREC 3D system, only minimal tooth structure is removed conserving more of the healthy tooth than ever before.

In less than 90 minutes from the time you arrive,
you are on your way with everything completed.

What About the Results?
The results are fantastic! The bonded ceramic restoration is the strongest, one-visit esthetic procedure available. We can treat many damaged areas with smaller inlays and onlays; with old technology, these areas may have required crowns.
